The upcoming psychological horror film "Immaculate" stars Sydney Sweeney as a deeply religious lady who settles into a haunting Italian convent and becomes pregnant inexplicably.
Michael Mohan's picture promises a blend of jump scares, blood, and religious iconography as the protagonist is pursued by terrible forces after becoming pregnant.
The picture, which also has Àlvaro Morte, Dora Romano, Giorgio Colangeli, Simona Tabasco, Benedetta Porcaroli, and Giampiero Judica in the cast, is produced by Sweeney.
Sweeney was a member of the primary cast of the Netflix series "Everything Sucks!" and previously worked with director Michael Mohan on that project.
